Winning English Alternative School Incorporated is a leading language school located in the vibrant city of Cebu, Philippines. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and passionate ESL Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis.
As an ESL Teacher at Winning English Academy, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students from different backgrounds and cultures. Your main responsibility will be to provide high-quality English language instruction to our students, helping them to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of students
– Assess students’ language proficiency and provide regular feedback on their progress
– Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to participate and take risks in using the English language
– Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to enhance students’ learning experience
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials
– Communicate with parents and provide updates on students’ performance and areas for improvement
– Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field
– TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is preferred
– Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English as a second language to non-native speakers
– Passion for teaching and working with students of different ages and backgrounds
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
– Willingness to learn and implement new teaching methods and techniques
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant teaching tools and technology
